Austrias Autonomous Mobility and Autonomous Driving Ecosystem Landscape - the map for autonomous driving and automated mobility in Austria.
The Landscape, initiated by Digitrans and the Automobil-Cluster OÖ, now offers in the updated version 2022.2 an even better overview of all participating companies, institutions, research and educational facilities as well as current research projects and use cases in the field of autonomous driving in Austria. The first edition of the “Autonomous Mobility Ecosystem Landscape Austria” was presented and published for the first time in January 2022. Thanks to the outstanding positive feedback from numerous companies and institutions, version 2022.2 has now been published. We thank all participants for their engagement and input.

The “Autonomous Driving Landscape Austria” was co-developed together with students from Steyr University of Applied Sciences, department: Global Sales and Marketing under the leadership of Dr. Harald Hammer, MBA. It provides a structured overview of the entire ecosystem in the field of autonomous driving in Austria. A total of around 200 companies, institutions, research and educational facilities, as well as current research projects and use cases that contribute to the Austrian research and industrial landscape in the field of autonomous driving could be covered.

Functional use cases at intersections
To test functional use cases of autonomous vehicles and commercial vehicles, a controlled intersection with 4 junction arms and an uncontrolled intersection with 3 junction arms is implemented on the test track in St. Valentin.
